Midsummer Night's Dream Essay

My least favortie character was Demetruis. I didn't like Demetruis because I didn't like how he acted towards Helena. Eventhough Helena got annoying not understanding that he didn't like her it was wrong how he treated her.If I was Helena I would leave him alone because he was very rude to her just because he wanted Hermia.If I ever met someone with Demetrius character I wouldn't really like them that much.


If I had to choose another topic for "Midsummer Night's Dream" it would probably be "Happily Ever After". The reason why i would give this story this titile because it's just like a fairytale just PG-13.Like in the begnning the characters are introducted and we get to see who like who.Then we come to the part were you start to see what the problem for example when Hermia didnt want to marry Demetrius.Finally you come to the part where ever thing falls in place. For example Hermia and Lysander are allowed to get married in the Athens and also does Helena and Demetrius."Happily Ever After" goes great with the story especially after reading and seeing the movie.

If I had to choose a character to play on broadway it would be Titania. I would be Titania because she's very graceful and intelligent like me. Also I always like to be very magical and since a little girl I always liked fairies like Tinkerbell. I would have fun playing her role because when I act I always like to feel the character and feel like I'm on another planet just for the moment.Titania was also queen of the fairies which made her a leader. I'm a leader so I could compare my real life to hers.

A Midsummer Night's Dream Act 2

In act 2 scene 1 Titania and Oberon have a huge argument over who is taking care of their "son" (which is the little prince) and Oberon tries to tell Titania to give up the kid for a adoption but Titania refuses to give up on the little prince because she's been raising him every since his birth mother gave birth to him. After their argument Oberon tells Robin to go get a special called the love-in-idleness. The love-in-idleness makes anyone fall in love with the first person they see. Oberon is planning to pour the flower juice on Titania's eyes and when she wakes up she'll fall in love with the first person she sees which can get Oberon the chance to take the little prince and make him his before he put Titania back in her normal state. When Helena and Demetrius go to the woods to look for Hermia and Lysander, Helena tries to chase Demetrius and he tells her to leave him alone but she won't stop until he falls in love with her.

In act 2 scene 2 Robin brings back the flower to Oberon and after the fairies put Titania to sleep Oberon puts the flower juice on her eyes. When Hermia and Lysander meet in the woods Lysander wants to sleep with Hermia but she turns him down. Hermia turns Lysander down because she feels better sleeping alone and not getting to close to each other until marriage.Lysander respects Hermia's decision and they go to sleep. Robin goes through the woods with the love -in-idleness flower and pours it on Lysander's eye lids. After Helena gives up following Demetrius she sees Lysander and wakes him up. When he sees Helena he instantly falls in love with her not knowing that he wasn't in his right state of mind. Helena thinks that Lysander is lying and mocking her and she yells at him when he's really in love with her instead of Hermia. Hermia wakes up to fear after she had a dream a snake was eating her heart out, she notices that Lysander has left and goes out looking for him.

I thought this picture was very eye catching to me. Not only is it unusually to see in your everyday travels but it's hard to believe all of these traffic light are combined together. I was thinking... wouldn't this be a great Christmas tree ? Comment me what you feel.

A Midsummer Night's Dream Act 1

The first act in scene one was about Theseus and Hippolyta who were getting married and how Theseus felt like the four days before they were getting married seemed like it was taking forever.When Egeus tries to pursue her daughter Hermia to get married to Demetrius but Hermia is in love with Lysander who is also in love with her also. The problem is that Egeus thinks that Lysander is a player and is pretending to love her. Hermia has to make a decision either to marry Demetrius who is not in love with, become a nun or be killed. After everybody else left Hermia and Lysander planned to sneak out the next night and run away to his aunts house and meet at the woods where they can get married and live happyily after ever. When they tell Helena there news meanwhile Hermia thinks that Helena is a good friend Helena is deciding to tell Demetrius Hermia and Lysander's plans so he could run out looking for her and when he gives up looking for her he'll come back to her thanking her and will eventually fall in love with her.

The second act in scene two was about these actors doing a craftsman play for Theseus wedding .They each had to figure out who's part was going to be who. Bottom is weaver and who is playing the role as Pyramus and think he can play more than one role.Francis Flute character is Thisbe, Robin Starveling is Thisbe's mother and Tom Snout is Pyramus father and Snug plays the lion.Peter Quince is the director. They plan to meet at the woods to pratice the play the same night they don't know that Lysander and Hermia are suppose to be running away to get married.

"This is a great book. I read it last year in Mr.Gallo's class and it was so interesting (by the way it's on Mr.Gallo's book self if you want to read it.). I had a great time reading it and it showed me what teens have to go to when having a baby at such a young age and not even finishing high school. It's a great book for every teen to read. So go check it out!"

"This book i recently read in December of last year.It was a great book since I'm a person who loves novels and books i can always relate to or have some kind of thinking at the end of each chapter or page. From the beginning of the book til the end I loved every moment of the book it explained how some middle or lower class families might have issues with their family or financial problems and that's why some teens go what they go through."

Echo By:Francesca Lia Block

Echo was one of my most favorite books I read through out all of my other books i read in the past. Echo was about a girl who goes through these changes because her father is slowly dying from cancer and her mother is a beautiful flower that she wasn't. She goes in and out of relationships trying to feel worthy because she doesn't feel that love at home but all it does is get her in massive trouble. I loved this book because it had real life experience i could relate to at some parts and it was great action. I would definitely recommend this to anyone mostly teen girls though. Try it!
