
In act 2 scene 1 Titania and Oberon have a huge argument over who is taking care of their "son" (which is the little prince) and Oberon tries to tell Titania to give up the kid for a adoption but Titania refuses to give up on the little prince because she's been raising him every since his birth mother gave birth to him. After their argument Oberon tells Robin to go get a special called the love-in-idleness. The love-in-idleness makes anyone fall in love with the first person they see. Oberon is planning to pour the flower juice on Titania's eyes and when she wakes up she'll fall in love with the first person she sees which can get Oberon the chance to take the little prince and make him his before he put Titania back in her normal state. When Helena and Demetrius go to the woods to look for Hermia and Lysander, Helena tries to chase Demetrius and he tells her to leave him alone but she won't stop until he falls in love with her.
In act 2 scene 2 Robin brings back the flower to Oberon and after the fairies put Titania to sleep Oberon puts the flower juice on her eyes. When Hermia and Lysander meet in the woods Lysander wants to sleep with Hermia but she turns him down. Hermia turns Lysander down because she feels better sleeping alone and not getting to close to each other until marriage.Lysander respects Hermia's decision and they go to sleep. Robin goes through the woods with the love -in-idleness flower and pours it on Lysander's eye lids. After Helena gives up following Demetrius she sees Lysander and wakes him up. When he sees Helena he instantly falls in love with her not knowing that he wasn't in his right state of mind. Helena thinks that Lysander is lying and mocking her and she yells at him when he's really in love with her instead of Hermia. Hermia wakes up to fear after she had a dream a snake was eating her heart out, she notices that Lysander has left and goes out looking for him.
